Jeremy Holtsclaw is a Scientific Advisor at Pioneer Oil Company and a Visiting Scholar at Purdue University since 2017. At Pioneer Oil, he leads the development of chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) solutions for Pioneer and evaluates chemical applications for key projects, effectively bridging the gap between scientific research and practical field implementation.
Prior to joining Pioneer Oil, Jeremy spent a decade as a Scientific Advisor in Halliburton's Production Enhancement service line. In this role, he guided projects from initial concept to commercial reality, with a focus on stimulation fluids, environmental applications, and surface science.
An accomplished innovator, Jeremy has co-authored numerous technical papers and holds multiple U.S. patents. He earned his BS in Chemistry from the University of Indianapolis and his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan. Jeremy is a member of the American Chemical Society and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
